We watched THE INNOCENTS (2021) last night and while I thought it was a solid horror film, I am somewhat bewildered at the 97% on RT. I'd give it a 90% - it was a unique premise, certainly full of horror, and the kids were great in it. But it wasn't a near masterpiece.

(Note that the horror contains some truly appalling animal death, so don't watch it if that's going to traumatize you.)

Reposting one of my favorite books just to say Rest In Peace James Moore. I only knew him from Facebook and from being a fan of his work. And I was happy when he accepted my friend request so that I could tell him so. I just found another collection of his on Amazon that I'm expecting to be delivered today. I hope and assume book sale money will go to his wife. If you haven't read his work, please do. @horror

I liked this one more than I thought I would. It was kind of silly and I usually can't handle a lot of gore but all the deaths were more funny than gross. I especially loved when the killer took time from their murder spree to feed one of their victim's cats. @horror

Pictured is the companion book and the only surviving episode of the tv series Late Night Horror. An old BBC show that was supposedly canceled and destroyed because so many people called in and complained about it being too scary. Can't wait to see what all the fuss is about. @horror

Well_Worth_A_Read OP ,
@Well_Worth_A_Read@horrorhub.club avatar

@stina_marie @horror whether it's worth it depends on how much you like old TV horror. I enjoyed it but it wasn't that scary. It may have been shocking in those days. I got it here. It's a little pricey for just 1 episode. It's slow to get delivered because it's in the UK https://www.tvbrain.info/shop/books/late-night-horror

Have had weird, severe stomach pain since 1pm yesterday without it dissipating (or getting worse, at least.)
It feels like I pulled every muscle on my right side and back, combined with this gnawing/burning feeling. My pain tolerance is pretty high but I'm going to the doctor in case it's gallstones or appendicitis. Yay.
Hope you have a better morning than I am.
