Thetimefarm , to news in Matthew Perry’s Cause of Death Revealed as ‘Acute Effects of Ketamine’

He was definately taking it recreationally too, a therapeudic dose wouldn’t even be close to enough to OD on. Long term ketamine use can have it’s own risks if the dose isn’t kept very low.

And just reading about it doesn’t either… being informed is important but letting negativity consume your world view isn’t healthy or productive, it’s just angsty.

I don’t think the vast emptiness that is the US translates well to the UK. By area, New Mexico is almost the exact same size as the british isles, and it’s only the 5th largest state. I’ve done 400+ miles in a single day of driving many times. The furthest I’ve driven in a day was close to 800 miles.

Honestly all value is relative, even the gold standard is fairly arbitrary. If you’re stuck in the desert with 100kg of gold bars you’d trade them for a gallon of water in a heart beat. That’s basically how the american healthcare system works lol.

Thetimefarm , to news in The stock market is edging toward extremes of Great Depression and dot-com eras

You’re either trolling or dillusional if you think that. We live in a police state, if you’re out in the open they will just kill you and if you take shelter they will literally lay seige to you and burn your house down.

Thetimefarm , to news in The stock market is edging toward extremes of Great Depression and dot-com eras

No, you’d have one dead cop and every protestor dead or in jail. One cop dying is all they need to throw away what little restraint they might have had up to that point. They will kill the people who resist and arrest the ones who don’t. If they arrest you they’ll drag the trial out for years, by the time you get found guilty and sentenced to a year of probation you’ll have spent a decade behind bars.

The problem is that this is not a fair fight, it is a suicide mission for whoever decides to take on the police.

Thetimefarm , to news in Man Who Attacked Paul Pelosi Says He Was Radicalized by Gamergate

Lol wait, I’m genuinely confused whether that’s meant to be “kotaku in action” or “kotaku inaction”. Was it meant to be that way as a joke or is it genuinely just that bad a name?

Thetimefarm , to technology in Tesla will sue you for $50,000 if you try to resell your Cybertruck in the first year

Lol ferrari took away Steve Wyns Las Vegas dealership because he flipped his LaFerrari for an extra million. I will never not find that hillarious.

Thetimefarm , to news in Science says teens need more sleep. So why is it so hard to start school later?

Because teachers give hours worth of busy work to try and justify their existance.

Thetimefarm , to technology in 8GB RAM in M3 MacBook Pro Proves the Bottleneck in Real-World Tests

I mean it doesn’t matter if the house around the wiring falls apart first. Most modern construction is like one step above paper mache.
