Kind of reminds me of what the Nazis did to their enemies

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Just call it “stork rule” or whatever if you feel uncreative

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

196 adopted it from 195 so it’s not like it’s from 196 in the first place

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

It makes quarterlys look good immediately before the problems show up later

It’s the mindset of someone who wants to cash out which is usually all ultracapitalists

@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Correction not even shrink. Even if ita acceleration starts to slow down they throw a tantrum

So sad that an innocent donkey got injured

I don’t care about cops tho

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

As a German. I got to see that lot of AFD voters are alcohol addicted people who would rather blame the failure of their marriage/life/etc on immigrants rather than facing the reality that it was their own fault. So they vote AFD. It’s pathetic tbh

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

I use Firefox with ublock origin and get all that for free

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Music playlist and autoplay says what?

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

And it’s leeching into lemmy via obvious astroturfing too. Ah yes an account less than a week old that does nothing but bring up how they pay for YouTube premium mmkay

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

4 Ads - uBlock Origin installed on Firefox

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

See my other comment. I also noted a lot of the accounts that promote YouTube premium, are less than a week old. So there is suspicion of trolling or astroturfing

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Counterpoint. There used to be far less ads

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Fyi all the removed features of the YouTube app they want you to pay for? Work fine on Firefox

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

My choice: Firefox with uBlock Origin because I get to decide what reaches my screen

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Imagine acting like removing unwanted content from MY screen is theft. My device my rules honey

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Yes

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Then maybe YouTube deserves to die

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

It is. Rapidly as user data statistics have shown. And it’s al YouTube’s own fault

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Seriously it’s insane. I checked some of their accounts and they’re less than a week old

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

It’s not illegal to control what appears on MY screen.

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

It’s not my obligation and I’m never going to stop because controlling what appears on my screen, is my legal right ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

If people decide to pay for something they have no legal obligation to because they got brainwashed, that only makes them suckers

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

In the end the astroturfing is just a lot of guilt tripping anyways. Legally it is our right to control what is on our screens. The people acting like it’s theft, some sorts of crime and that we are obligated to watch ads are intensely disconnected from the reality of that we are just exercising our level liberties.

This isn’t even like piracy where there’s copyright laws (even if I support piracy). This is blatantly a non-issue to us from a legal perspectives and the idiots who waste their money on premium because they have been brainwashed by corpos? Well they can just go suck it

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

I did not according to EU law :D

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

But how will the CEO afford their 7th yacht?

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Peertube

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

That’s weird. On Android I just take the “notification” and can press play and it’ll work just fine.

iOS always has been finnicky

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

You do not “Get over” your country being invaded like that what the fuck

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Sees link “Fungiverse”

Oh god help

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

A Slavic person chimed in it actually is a real phenomena based on a toxic culture in high school that encourages young men to drink an excess of alcohol.

It’s hard to look good when you get peer pressured to drink alcohol until your liver fails

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Alcoholism unfortunately has it’s consequences

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Okay is it racist to say that America has an obesity problem? No? Then shut up

Sheeple , (edited )
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

With more European context you’ll realise this is about the alcohol health crisis that is spread a lot among men of that area.

If you want a similar example, replace the man with an obese man and “slav” with “American”. A common comedy trope.

Unfortunately people love brushing it off as a “funny stereotype” instead of realising “Wait dude these guys are victims of a health crisis”

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Why do you think I made that comparison lol

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Try making an account without any of the 3 “approved” email addresses ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

YouTube in general just became slower due to bloat :,)

It’s just more noticable when there isn’t even longer ads to take away the attention

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Firefox with ublock origin plus autoplay while you’re in a music playlist says what?

Seriously firefox mobile can play stuff in the background. If you didn’t know

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

And those are unfortunately 90% dead as compared to 10 years ago.

Back then I could easily find multiple chatrooms for any fandom all incredibly active. Now I’m lucky to find a singular one that isn’t dead. Fandoms mostly moved on to the big monolithic sites like reddit where interactions and conversation are incredibly artificial

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Listen here my dude my brain is still stuck to the time when YouTube allowed you to make a fancy fully customized channel page which was later culled go make way for the bland mobile friendly interface ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Oh I think I know what you mean. DDG + Firefox has some weird behavior on YouTube. I can watch the videos but if I wanna properly load the page it gives me a request failure.

It’s kind of frustrating on mobile. Have you tried loading through a different search engine? It’s not a big issue for me but it’s something I experience too as I’m a DDG user

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

I wouldn’t recommend brave browser tbh. Librewolf or Firefox it is

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Generally lemmy is good at searching posts but poor if nonexistent comment systems. I tried looking into a similar thing before, although it was trying to find topics in comment sections, not filter them.

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

As far as mainstream is concerned. Discord is known as “That platform where moderators groom kids” since that’s the only things that ever reach the news

Sheeple ,
@Sheeple@lemmy.world avatar

Oh I used to moderate a big discord server. I retired when I had to deal with actual god damn child porn being sold there.

Consider me traumatized
