Looks like another autism researcher is facing criticism https://www.thetransmitter.org/spectrum/work-of-autism-researcher-questioned-again/ Interestingly it mentions a paper called "Effects of Low-Level Laser Therapy in Autism Spectrum Disorder" which reading through just strikes me as thoroughly unethical research that should've never been approved. Autism research proves it is in crisis, again. @actuallyautistic

  1. State drug admins aren't keeping up with demand.
  2. Many suspect this is intentional in an effort to deter misusers.
  3. Genuine ADHDers can't get the meds they need.
  4. "Without medication people with ADHD are twice as likely to die prematurely"
  5. The government: "LOL"

(I'm still waiting for drugs I was prescribed 2 months ago)

depressed ones, is the narrative "what a useless dumb shit you are, freak that shouldn't have been born" ever go away? i recently discovered that apparently it's not a thing always in a background for other humans. it seems to be forgotten when i hyperfocus on some random bullshit that brings joy, but what about you?

@lexx3000 @actuallyautistic I'm not quite free of depression but learning to let go of whatever ableist bile people throw at you (And probably don't even care about you) helps a lot. Yes I shouldn't have to do this but its helped a lot.
