For people curious. This is more a sleep tracker than a game.

The game is slow, I work and sleep about 6 Hours per day. I’ve been playing since the game got out in EU and my best Pokemon just got level 11 as a free player. Some people are higher, it will depend a lot of how long you sleep.

The gameplay loop is:

At the start of the week you choose a team of 5 pokemon

You sleep

When you wake up you have a cookie you can give to a random pokemon that can’t in your sleep. It give 3 hearts with them. You need 5 To get the weakest pokémons into your team

You connect 3 times a day to get the berries You also make 3 times a day a meal using ingredients (different from berries) your pokemon can get, which will strengthen the Snorlax and attract rarer Pokemon

The currencies in the game are: Dream Points: to buy accessories and PokeBall cookies (which give 1 heart) Diamonds: you buy from Real € for accessories and PokeBall Cookies Dream Shards: used to level up manually some Pokemon or to grow your camp Pokemon Candies: you get for each different pokemon to evolve them or to manually gain them level with Dream Shards

You can buy one PokeBall biscuits for 1.19€ (but in bundle of 3, so 3 for 3.57€) Or you can buy it for one 8h30 or more night + 6 hours of sleep (so one PokeBall cookies every 2 days.

If you have the sleeppass for 10€ per month. You get two free 3 heart cookies every day allowing you to catch every day a weaker pokemon for free (remember a weak pokemon is 5 hearts) And you get a reduction, for the price of the PokeBall cookies to a perfect night of 8h30 or basically 2 nights of like 7 hours.

You also get access with the b Sleep pass to the possibility to buy a GreatBall cookie which like the free cookie, will give you 3 hearts to a wild Pokemon For the small cost of 4 perfect 8h30 nights, or if you are normal like me, a week of sleep.

Now let’s say you’ve collected with your sleeppass GreatBall cookies. And suddenly, your favorite pokemon Absol appears in the morning after you sleeped! Wow! You will need to get him to 12 hearts. Requiring you 4 cookies, your 2 free of the day and two GreatBall cookies you bought from 2 weeks of sleep. Well sadly after 2 cookies a Pokemon is full, and you will need to wait next time this rare Pokemon appears to finish heading him (hearts stay between each time the pokemon appears)

Or, you can buy once a month a Master Ball Cookie. Which will instantly catch any pokemon. For the low cost of 40 days of perfect 8h30 sleep every single day.

So even if you pay, the game is made to be incredibly slow it’s part fo the design

And yet I connect 3 times a day and I’ve been enjoying but still a bit frustrated because I have an average of 6h30 of sleep every day

Woke up and checked the game, corrected certain errors, and one of them is that is not a “battle pass”, it’s called a sleep pass. You don’t have quest in them to get loot, you simply very more “rare loot” am fidelity loot if you have the sleep pass for multiple months

I’ll say me writting my homebrew DnD world. It goes in pair with me using ObsidianMD, I love the tool i’m using and i’m having fun specifically in the making of polical cities more than in the making of combat senarios. My mom knows about it and sometimes asks, Dad finds it stupid, and I don’t talk about it with anyone I used to atlk about what I write to two friends, but they are coming to my session in september so now I have no one esle to bring it up

Oh I am not able at all to draw too, I can’t make it if I don’t have an idea in my head (and then the technic is bad behind)

I started writing my DnD (Now Pathfinder 2) adventure/world because I was tired of waiting for someone to “maybe invite me some day” and I started very very simply

There is a King, he’s old, he was a hero, and he looks like the old guy in Atlantis (Disney). Ok, now what. I guess the guy has a Kingdom, but that’s really big and scary to write. So he has a big developed Greek City. If it’s Greek then he must have a Greek God. I don’t have any Greek gods made. So let’s make like one God Hmmm god of knowledge yeah, and to not have to make to much gods, let’s say it’s like the main god of the city. Even better, let’s say they made the city together ok So now there must be a big temple

And I continue and continue and continueto add one things after the other that’s basically it and what makes building for roleplaying games fun

I went back on the game last week. There’s 4 new levels and a “More to come” Happy to see there is more development. The new maps are very different it’s nice. There are also now Contracts (Monthly/Weekly/Daily) where there are certain modifiers and a list of maps and it’s basically a small competition on those criterias

I’m on Quest so I’m not certain I’ll find you next time but I’ll check!

I am in the process of looking between repairing my phone or switching to a new one. And the no brainer evolution to the OnePlus 7 Pro I have is a Pixel phone. Pixel Phones are definitely not perfect, I know that the battery would fall faster than other phones but hey, that’s ok, google chip in it, possibility to go...

No it’s 44gb of apps! 8 of them is Signal discussions for me (I’ve converted all the people I talk to the most) then it’s 2.6 gb WeChat, 1.5 TikTok, 1.2 Reddit, 1.1 Google then all are under 1gb

Yeah I fully know a lot of people are on 64gb. My colleges at work are on 64gb, I am not writing this to trash at all on people with 64gb. It’s just that storage price go down with time. We can buy 1tb for SSD for 77€, I know you’ve got miniaturization but 100€ for 124 extra gb seems a lot

I am not directly blaming cloud, I am blamming the lack of options that are presented to users “Back in my days” When I got my OnePlus 7 Pro, users had the choice between 124, 248 and 516 in the Middle High category. That was 4 years and 3 months ago, since then prices have dropped. Making phones with only one Storage size (7a) and no SD Card is not cool, and having to pay 100 € Extra when a 248 gb SD card can be found at 30€ is not cool too.

Now when they offer you 3 months of Google One and Youtube Premium behind, the message is passed, you can use Cloud Servers (Especially ours) to store what you have. Not even talking about the fact taht clouds have a certain carbon footprint, and it f I can lower mine a bit my Downloading musics I listen to alot I’ll be happy And I am even more happy that people are able to make their own cloud servers on their houses, its trully a life goal for me too, ask people around me that know me, I’ve talked about it already. It’s just not for now.

And it’s great that it exist, but I don’t want that for certain things, I want a bit more space that’s all.

Funny you talk about it, I’ve been looking at raspberry pie server today. I have definitly looked too at a DAPS. My budget is still limited but it’s something I am heavily looking at. I am using Deezer HIFI for my music, but have been wanting to buy the albums I love on Qobuz from ShakaPonk Stupéflip and Rammstein too. Today form my 48gb of music Downloaded I still iften want to listen to other playlist I have that are not loaded right now I took the time to go try some DAPS at a music store, I tried a 300€ one running android from Sony, which was nice, and the sound quality was also a bit better than my Qudelix. But It was a bit slow, and didn’t have PEQ like the Qudelix. I also tried for the laught the the M11 hand Holly Hell is it good

There is definitly a future in 5 to 10 years where I am rocking a Android DAP that can do DAC for PC aswell, and a midrange phone. And there is a definit possibility that the DAP will be more used than the phone itself heh

It was the same if I’m not wrong for Dota 2 when moving to Source 2.

But as a CSGO player with “Only 600” I am very hyped. It’s subtle things, but I love them, sample fixes everywhere in every small corner. Game runs better which was not possible before? Yeah, before everything passed by one CPU core, now it’s fixed, everything will run faster. By tweaking some mechanics the game will play differently. CS2 is not like when a new Monster Hunter game gets out, Its taking a good game, and recreating it in a new place adapted to the world of today, with tricks we learned in the last ten years. Yeah it’s not a new game, yeah it’s not innovative at all, the only innovation would maybe be how they baked the light with a blend of old tech and new tech.
