Just your usual working historian. My new book is Decadent Women: Yellow Book Lives, out from Reaktion in fall 2023. Previous books include Women and the Vote: A World History and other work on radicals, nationalists and decadents. I am a biographer of Gandhi and of Tony Benn.
I also wrote a novel, Cafe Europa, about adventure on a Greek island.
