I had no problems with Tuxedo but I would recommend a work laptop and a gaming desktop

Laptops age incredibly fast due to heat

AMD has the better graphics cards, CPU wise Intel has caught up so look for the cheaper equivalent

List the games you want and we can tell you compatibility, if you just want FPS games then I get my fix from Plutonium (older COD games)

It is if you play open queue and you have 2 tanks, 2 healers, 1 dps

But you also have to avoid the robot push maps and the queue times are too long to bother

Also don’t have any plans to unlock the new characters, it took over 25 hours for me to unlock the first guy

I fully left Windows because things didn’t just work and in my experience they did on Linux.

I don’t find CLI more necessary in Linux than Windows, if I used my package manager GUI then I’d use CLI more in Windows than in Linux

I feel that Linux is better for the average person because their use case is opening a web browser. Viruses and tech support scammers will be less likely to hit them

Lol Linux is easier than Windows, you don’t need to know any troubleshooting secrets or bash. Even the installation is easier

How many people do you know with Android phones that know bash?

Terminal isn’t any more necessary on Linux than Windows but the commands are simpler

The downside of Linux is that it’s free, that means they can’t afford to pay manufacturers to include their OS at the same scale as Microsoft. Thus Windows will have more users and be a more profitable ecosystem to target software for

You can run Heroic on the steam deck to play Epic

Ally is worse than the steam deck in everything unless it’s plugged in and you’re using a keyboard and mouse, at that point you should get a laptop

Emulators also have no issue

The res is lower so it can play higher demanding games, necessary res scales with screen size, a 1 cm screen doesn’t matter if it’s 10 pixels or 10 million but a 200 cm screen you’d want the 10 million

Rivals might compete but they aren’t big enough to handle volume (you might be waiting a long time)

Also Linux is better than Windows
