Friend convinced me to try Helldivers 2 this past weekend. I had fun, but I also don’t think it’s as great as the hype it’s getting either. Friend thinks it will be a long term playing game but I felt like I saw most of what it offered in 3 days of playing. Guess we’ll see. I’m also trying out the FF7 rebirth demo. Wish I had more time to play stuff but this is all I have currently.

My guess is after the first year they lower it to 50 since there won’t be that many people playing it. Fall guys did it after 3 years, it was sad to lose the 60 person levels which are now 40 if your lucky.

As others pointed out, use the app to authenticate. I’m pretty sure this was happening to me about a month ago for about a week. Kept getting the approve and number notification for new login, but I would deny it. Eventually it stopped.

The headline doesn’t really match the video. They do state some issues, but ultimately, within 45 min, they were in and the mother didn’t seem very upset. They also like the idea of this method over having to make up days in summer. I really hate misleading headlines…

Also I do agree with not having to make up days in summer, but last I checked you get like 5 snow days a year. Considering our area only seems to use 1-2 a year for the past 5 years I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just use the snow days first then transition to remote if needed.

I’m sure I had a lemon, but I think I had either the first or 2nd gen phone and it broke within 6 months. I had it in my hoodie pocket and I felt it vibrate so I took a look and it went into boot loop. Sadly I did not turn on developer mode so I could not get access to it or wipe it and the reset wouldn’t work either. Essentially it was wiped and I lost everything. I also don’t remember why but they did not allow the warranty either. Good news was it was a work phone so I did not pay for it. It was the only one I tried and I will not go back. I enjoy my Samsung.

It’s weird reading through the posts and seeing how vivid these moments are for some. I think I may have a memory problem because it’s honestly hard to say what I played first. It was sometime around 1988, and my guess is original Mario for NES since it’s the first console my parents got, and it came with it. I remember playing it but it’s hard to say if it was the first since I may have played something at a relative or friend’s house. Played a lot of random NES games after that. My parents also owned an intellivision so it could have been something on that as well.

I even saw an article yesterday indicating Sony is developing something as well. 2 years away, but still, I never thought they were going to try again after the psp and Vita failure (failure is subjective, I still love my psp). I fully believe the success of the steam deck has revived there interest in it as well.

Personally I would consider all of them unsafe until they are identified. Pretty sure that’s how pharmaceutical drugs are handled so I’m not sure why it would be different for chemicals we don’t know about. If the process is to slow then it’s obvious the EPA needs a bigger budget and staff to work on this, instead of when Trump tried to cripple it even more than it already is…

I can think of 2 websites that didn’t work right over the past 10 Yeats. Both were credit card payment sites and just had weird issues like couldn’t hit the submit button. I figured it out and just used edge for them. I never found any site that I use often that has issues yet.

I still wonder what they are buying and from who. If it’s the ISP I kind of wonder what they still get from me since I don’t use their DNS servers and the ones I point to are setup for DoH for all traffic at home. I also use other stuff for added privacy. It doesn’t take a lot of effort, I hope more people start taking their networks seriously and setup some easy bare minimum precautions to help make it at least slightly harder to track you.

After looking at a YouTube review that really went in as to what changed, I can honestly say it’s nothing relevant from our perspective… they compared the fps rates, which were exactly the same, and compared the resolutions it plays at which is also the same. They compared graphics and only seemed to find very slight differences in some foliage and shadows.

So this absolutely seems like a cash grab. I think you get some added modes or content, which is nice, but how or why would you call it a remake?

From the review I saw the ps5 patched one had the same load time which was around 17 seconds instead of about 1 minute 20 sec.

Honestly, I would love to believe everyone here, but I remember Netflix last year with eliminating password sharing and how everyone lost their collective minds about it. I just turned 40 earlier this year (last year for some by now?) and I know and seen all of these shows back in the early 90s, maybe late 80s. As someone who was 24 at the time, and probably the perfect age to buy one if it was my parents’ generation, I was nowhere near ready to buy a house still… honestly, 23-30 were the best years of my life, then I got married and brought one in 2014, which was still semi decent to buy at the time. It was super hard, though, and I have no idea how all these people today are somehow paying above asking price in cash or getting mortgages paying crazy amounts over asking with these interest rates! Either I did things completely wrong in life or these bad decisions people are making today will come full circle a few years from now.

We don’t have them near me but I went on a trip last year and sadly forgot my belt… so I found a target to hit as it was the closest store near me. It’s the first time I saw this smaller version and I agree it was awful. They did not have a single belt. I hope they fail or at least rebrand because I would like to know that I am going to a butchered version of target before getting there so I can avoid it.

The only reason I wish it was BG3 would be for the industry to know there is absolutely still a market for these kind of games. At the same time I think they realize that now anyway. It will be interesting to see the uptick in that game type over the next 3-5 years.

For me it’s just being old… I love what I played but only had 1 opportunity to sit down and play it. I realized I love and hate the fact that there is sooooo much to do and think about. For me, my time is limited to an hour tops here and there, so sadly, this type of game just frustrates me because I am always looking at a clock, and I hate that. Wish I was a kid again, so I can actually enjoy all the great games coming out in recent years.

As one of the few holdouts for using any streaming service I still rely on a local library and tied to last.fm. They do the same thing for probably the last 10 years now and I love it. It’s nice to see what I’ve discovered and loved for the year. I do not share it though, no social media either.

Been using Navidrome for the past year and loving it. Subsonic was my goto but with no updates in years I wanted something more modern. That paired with Symfonium app is perfect. Just remember they just updated navidrome a few weeks ago and the next update if you want last.fm access you have to use your own api key sadly.
