"Traces of Ink. Experiences of Philology and Replication is a collection of original papers exploring the textual and material aspects of inks and ink-making in a number of premodern cultures (Babylonia, the Graeco-Roman world, the Syriac milieu and the Arabo-Islamic tradition)."
I recently bought two journals to use as commonplace books. Once home and eager to use the latest additions I found that the #ink from my fountain pen bleeds straight through to the other side of the page with both journals. To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement.
Tried to think about this one from another angle, I'm not convinced it worked. I don't think I have enough creativity or artistic ability to last 31 straight days.

You ever have an artistic blind-spot? A creative blackout? You look at a piece of work and you know you had a thought. You know there was an idea. You know there’s an attempt at something here, you just don't know what the hell it is. Yeah, that's this. I suppose there's always tomorrow.
