Join Adelaide and her friends as they navigate nerves and the super duper jittery jitters while performing a play. Adelaide on Broadway features anytime warm-up exercises (like humming, singing and telling funny jokes) designed to help children get calm and centered before performing or speaking in front of others.

I really enjoyed this sweet romance told from multiple perspectives. I love how each chapter begins with a drawing and the name of a flower or plant. It is a very imaginative and beautiful book.

Part cultural criticism, part rueful confessional, a reformed brand strategist brings to light the impact of influence on us and our society and offers an escape in this ironically persuasive case for not being so easily influenced anymore.

Three Feathers is a powerful graphic novel about restorative justice and traditional native ways. I loved the simple, but powerful message , as well as the transformative growth of the characters.

Amanda Prowse created an intriguing novel about illusions and family drama. It is about what happens behind facades and closed doors and an interesting look into dysfunctional families.

It is a thriller where the author takes her time to settle the story and the strange atmosphere. It is rapidly understood that each character has something to hide and that they don’t meet by coincidence. Hank Phillippi Ryan drops clues here and there . One character looking at another strangely makes the perfect suspect to me !

Magicka is a beautifully illustrated book focusing on self care through natural spiritual practices. Carlota Santos’ art is very unique and I love the classical look of the book. From Herbalism to Astrology and Tarot, the explanations are clear and simple.

I really enjoyed going through this book. The writing is simple, but goes straight to the point. It can be read in order or picked here and there when needed. The author encourages us to be honest with ourselves about our shortcomings, but also our strengths.
