Nigeria Jones by Ibi Zoboi is a contemporary young adult book featuring a young girl who is trying to spread her wings after a great trauma. We watch Nigeria grow from the beginning of the book until the end. It was such a rewarding experience watching Nigeria throughout the story. Recommend for all #YALit readers. Was a 5/5 for me.

PSA: 'Dear Committee Members', by Julie Schumacher, is a perfect book. If you are an academic of any sort, you must read it. If you are a non-academic, it may not charm you in the same way, but since it is a perfect book you must read it anyway.
