recommendation!

The Adventures of Sophie Mouse series by Poppy Green and illustrated by Jennifer A. Bell is a very cute beginning chapter book. Recommend for ages 6-8. If you're looking for an easy chapter book for the littles in your life, this series is an excellent pick.

Nigeria Jones by Ibi Zoboi is a contemporary young adult book featuring a young girl who is trying to spread her wings after a great trauma. We watch Nigeria grow from the beginning of the book until the end. It was such a rewarding experience watching Nigeria throughout the story. Recommend for all readers. Was a 5/5 for me.

Aaron Blabey wrote the Bad Guys series (junior fiction, short graphic novel, movie) and he just came out with another fun little series called Cat on the Run. I have read the first book, Cat on the Run in Cat of Death, and it was just as fun as the Bad Guys series. Highly recommend for the 1st thru 4th grade readers in your life.
