Everyone felt weird when I said I was using custom ROMs. Most of them haven't heard about anything beyond stock android. I wrote a blog trying to normalise it. https://text.tchncs.de/czars-blogs/custom-roms-and-my-phone
I do absolutely agree that this sucks. However, most people don’t actually need this. Yes, it’s very convenient, but I found that pretty much all banking apps, at least for people I have helped support, offer a web client anyways that’s just as good. It’s only missing things like NFC tap payment.
Of course, don’t get me wrong. A lot of solutions don’t offer web UIs, and that sucks. But we can’t force everyone to be a not shitty developer Sadly.
I also do really miss tap payments with my phone. It’s really nice just taking my phone when I go shopping and maybe $20 in cash. Not needing to worry about my car or anything else.
Flashing a custom ROM is an arcane process, most up to date documentation is hidden in chat apps and if you miss a step, you risk boot-looping your device with no chance of recovery or warranty.
During the #Balkan Wars in 1912 and 1913, military hospitals for wounded soldiers were opened in all bigger towns in #Serbia. Most hospitals were in #Belgrade where several thousand wounded soldiers were treated.The number of hospitals in Belgrade increased during the Second Balkan War with the Bulgarians (June-July 1913), even thirty-six in total; two permanent and thirty-four emergency hospitals.
The last XXXIV emergency hospital was located in a onetime tavern Smutnikovac at the Topcider hill. The owner of the private hospital was the industrialist, banker and philanthropist Djordje Vajfert and it was run by his nephew, the lawyer and industrialist Ferdinand Gramberg.
The producer Djordje Djoka Bogdanovic shot the everyday moments in this hospital as well as the “#cinematographic“ stroll of the wounded soldiers, doctors and the hospital staff.

Sie sind linear erzählt, haben viel Handlung und interessante Schauplätze. Andere, wie z. B. die Vampirnovelle #BissZumLetztenAkt oder das #SirenusaDesaster eignen sich aufgrund der Erzählweise und einem hohen Anteil an Introspektion eher nicht.

Allerdings bin ich mir sehr bewusst, dass ich zwar ganz gut zeichnen kann, aber bei weitem nicht die Fähigkeiten besitze, die es braucht, so ein Projekt adäquat umzusetzen. Do it slowly and don’t be consistent, sometimes I select the tile with 3 pixels of the thing its supposed to contain, sometimes I leave 2 or 3 tiles that clearly contain the thing, sometimes I just select a tile that doesn’t even match. Idk, it always works, I suppose the erratic behavior is what shows them I’m human or smth
