Went for a little 4k run between my hotel and the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc. I even spotted some green Monk Parrots, the same as we have back home. They're actually native to South America, but have been introduced to at least two continents, without becoming disruptive to the local ecosystems. One of the first things I noticed when we arrived was their distinctive call, welcoming us. You know, if they can make a home here maybe I can, too, someday.

The UK-Rwanda proposals differ from official practices of #deportation as they have developed in liberal democracies since the 1970s.
There are certainly some international parallels, such as Australia’s ‘Pacific Solution’ of ‘offshoring’ asylum, which is often cited as an inspiration. Yet a much clearer precedent involving the forcible movement of people to countries where they have no personal or legal connection existed for many years in the British Empire.

let me second this. I feel so much gratitude towards the autistic community. Colors and forms do a similar thing to me as community does. On Mon., Aug. 6, 1787, the “Committee of detail” report had a lot of similarities to the #Constitution eventually signed on September 17th.
Thanks to #JamesMadison’s notes, we can peer into much of the #debates that #summer, including the Committee of Detail report that recommended that #Representatives “shall have been a citizen in the United States for at least three years before his election”.

It makes little difference to power consumption and distorts the image balance.
Surely BBC R&D can tell you that. They had smart people when I worked in the BBC.
Also I use a 6W sat box, FM TX (sold for phone/mp3 to car radio) and FM Radio for non-local stations. Lower power than many DAB (turned off May 2021 in Ireland).
No-one I know uses TV to listen to Radio, though a £10 USB DVB-T stick can work on laptop or Android.
The best way to improve energy use in the longer term - is for the #BBC to join those on the right side of history.
Stop supporting fossil fuel industries, politicians or the public, by proxy (e.g., stop reporting their non-science rhetoric without critical evaluation)
Either that or just turn the BBC, ITV, etc, off & read a science publication.
Doing research and realizing that unfortunately #SiYuan messes one thing up - backlinks and mentions render the inline content that contains the link.
The way SiYuan models pages, lists of any kind are structural objects that attach inline content.
That means while you can write outliner-style lists in SiYuan, the context of that list, especially child bullets, doesn‘t automatically come along like it happens in #logseq - or #capacities.
