Attention bookworms: What are people using to get information about good new books that are out there? I'm a huge fan of science fiction, for example, and I know there's got to be tons of good books I haven't read simply because I've never heard of them. Sometimes I'll go window shopping, basically searching Bookshare and Kindle for certain words, just to see what comes up, and doing that I do stumble across some books, but I know there's a ton I'm missing because I don't even know it exists. Boosts appreciated.

The 1980 Miami riots were race riots that occurred in Miami, Florida, starting in earnest on May 18, 1980, following an all-White male jury acquitting four Dade County Public Safety Department officers in the death of Arthur McDuffie (December 3, 1946 – December 21, 1979), a Black insurance salesman and United States Marine Corps lance corporal. McDuffie was beaten to death by four police officers after a traffic stop. After the officers were tried and acquitted on charges including manslaughter and evidence tampering, a riot broke out in the Black neighborhoods of Overtown and Liberty City on the night of May 17.

Anyone asking why other studios doesn't make games like this misses THE key point: Larian is privately owned. They don't have a publisher like say EA that deliberately sabotage the development process for profit.
@WhyNotZoidberg What really grinds me is, that all this corporate meddling doesn't even guarantee that a game will be profitable at all. It's all glorified guessing, done by people who don't actually care about the medium they are making decisions about.
And every time one of their soulless amalgamations of mindless trend chasing fails gloriously, they fail to learn any lesson from it, it's frustrating.

<h3 class="a-plus-plus">Abstract</h3>
<p class="a-plus-plus">Individuals facing physical and mental multimorbidity and social marginalization are considered to have “complex health and social needs.” This study seeks to address the following question: what mental health care experiences are valued by individuals with complex health and social needs? Semi-structured interviews were conducted with fifteen individuals experiencing complex health and social needs, including homelessness. Interview data was analyzed using an interpretive description approach. Participants valued services and providers who cared <em class="a-plus-plus">with them and for them. Care for</em> service users with complex needs required flexible processes and individualized care planning and treatment. <em class="a-plus-plus">Care with</em> service users demanded genuine, collaborative interpersonal interactions. These elements were evident across steps in an episode of care, from intake through assessment and treatment to transitions and discharge. These findings highlight particular challenges in operationalizing evidence-based care in mental health care for people with complex health and social needs.</p>
