Every day that passes, Israel burns through a little more of their historical stocks of goodwill. Just like the Russians burning through their historical stocks of Soviet-era war materiel.
Both stocks were extraordinarily large, much wrong was done to the Jewish people through history, so there has always been extra goodwill there, to help a downtrodden people. But that goodwill is ultimately finite. They will eventually run out, and what then Israel…?
This is likely why all the major jihadist figures are all being so mild with their rhetoric. They don’t have to loudly call for jihad, Israel is doing it for them.
