That’s the nature of war, yes. Of course, there’s no comparison between engaging in combat with the expectation that people on both sides will die and using a weapon that the user would be in range of the fallout from.

For those who don't know, hibakusha refers to those who were affected by the nuclear bombs in Japan.

I admire the hibakusha for speaking out about this. Many of them have had difficult lives, but they are still acting as society's conscience.
