Wagner was largely responsible for a lot of Russia’s territorial gains in the East while Russian command wasted it’s best troops trying to take airfields an execute a decapitation strike on Zelensky himself at the beginning of the war (with disastrous effects). I imagine that with Wagner largely withdrawn there’s going to be a vacuum of skilled fighters, that could lead to a significant decrease in war readiness on the front.
