I’d like to hold a gold bar some time. I remember hearing that gold weighs something like 3 times iron for a given volume. Seems like it would be a weird experience. Doesn’t need to be gold I suppose, tungsten is about the same I think. So I want to hold a gold or tungsten bar at some point in my life.

I got a set of machines spinning tops for Christmas a few years back, they’re all made from different metals, and the tungsten one is always a shock when you pick it up.
