Headphone jack on desktop PC snapped when I tripped over my headphone cable. It's broken (tho could be fixed as it works with tape). How can I configure one of the other jacks to work with headphones?
For the record, I did the same with an NZXT case, reached out to the company, and they sent me a new front panel module to replace the broken one. Totally free of charge.
Other audio ports I mean. I can’t change any of the other ports in connector retasking using Realtek Audio Console app. Is there some other software I can use to do this?
Also, I’ve read that I can use Line Out as an alternative to Headphone. But I can’t see Line Out here. Can I use any of the other ports as a backup for my headphone jack? What about Front Speaker Out?
Line out should work, but sound issues are often very unique to a single device. I would recommend throwing on some music and then just experimenting with the different jacks you have available until you hear something.
