The feeble old Senators don’t even understand the misrepresentation they’re being presented by the CEOs trying to dumb it down, spin it, and sell it as they half understand it themselves.
Having data-scientists try to explain something to aged, entitled, soft Senators does sound hilarious though in an “I Am Groot” kind of way. Politicians are professional bullshitters, that is their vocation.
Picture a dustbowl era snake oil salesman. Now picture a scientist trying to explain the basics of how a vacuum tube computer takes in data, performs operations on that data, and outputs transformed data. Good Luck with that.
