RSS feed Reddit outages [solved]

Anyone knows if the Reddit outages (subreddits feeds not working) is because of Reddit being Reddit or the RSS app itself?

It’s quite bothersome but I’m kind of stubborn and sticking to this particular one (RSS Mobile, IOS) because I like it. I hope this can be solved because, I don’t want to use their app nor the site but still want to follow some subreddits.

The screenshot shows what I meant, the purple means the feed isn’t working and won’t show up. The rss app I’m using is this one; RSS Mobile (IOS)

I was not sure where this post this, apologies if this not the right community for it.

EDIT: seeing the downvotes, this seems to be the wrong community. But no one has the decency to tell me which community to go, great lol.

EDIT 2: Figured it out, was a issue with my RSS itself.

mox ,

I don’t know of a lemmy community where people want to spend their time giving tech support for Reddit.

In general, it’s a good idea to consult a fediverse directory to figure out where your post might be appropriate. Here is one.

Ah might be true but that’s also quite pretentious to act as if Lemmy users ‘never use Reddit’. Because some communities from there never really migrated to Lemmy. For example majority of the book subs, didn’t (therefore RSS feed).

I’ll keep this post up and see if someone might help. The downvotes don’t mean anything here anyway. Just found it a bit funny in a certain way.

Anyway thanks, I’ll look into what you linked.

Did they mean something in Reddit. 0.0

Or maybe it’s not pretense at all, but simply people choosing how they want to spend their time.

Making bold assumptions about other people’s motivations is easy, but also error-prone.

No, its quite pretentious to pretend that everyone wouldn’t use Reddit nor RSS feed it. There’s always going to be some people using both.

You seem to be in some mood for keyboard warrior acting and I’m not. So I’ll leave it at this.

Most likely it’s just Reddit making their service shit. I stopped using it last year and blocked it from all search results and now don’t have to worry about it because Google is the only one that can search it anyway and I haven’t used Google in years.

Never thought of that, that’s probably high likely.
