I look at it differently. It’s a step towards the state raising children instead of parents. It takes those specific guardianship rights away and hands them to an arbitrary school employee.
In the future, when it expands to other social aspects, we’ll have no recourse. Still sounds like an overreach to me. It’s not like parents don’t swing towards conversion therapy in many cases.
