Every PC I’ve ever used automatically detects and adjusts resolution to the display you connect to it. Even Nintendo Switch will detect when it’s docked and automatically adjust the display resolution. But on Steam Deck you literally have to adjust the display resolution for every game, every time you switch displays....

After too much time spent on google I finally found this lightweight GUI + CLI tool that finds locally installed games (yes including non-steam games running under proton) and thought I’d spread the gospel!...

With the release of bazzite 2.0 and the existence of other steamOS-like distros like chimera OS, I’m just wondering if anyone is running their steam deck with a different distro than what was shipped. How does the experience stack up, do you prefer something like chimera or bazzite? Just wondering if I’m missing out by...

I played about 4 hours and 15 minutes tonight while plugged in the whole time and it ran pretty great. I had FSR 2.1 on and ran most settings at Medium with a couple low like the Vehicle and People on the Street Density on Low. I switched the Textures from Medium to High for the last 20 minutes or so and I saw a minimal change...
