I think the scale of producing and supporting a device like this is a lot larger than you think. SteamOS is also out there for use, so nothing is stopping an Australian company from creating a device that runs it. Ayaneo is doing just that,and I’m certain others are as well. You can probably also make your own with another AMD Z1 device like the ASUS ROG handheld.
