One question, is it somehow also a remote desktop? I’m confused that it has desktop applications in among the server apps on the demo site.

No all the apps are running through docker. Some apps run in docker with vnc

I switched to just using Docker and nginx reverse proxy. It’s more setup initially but less overhead.
