I know that for data storage the best bet is a NAS and RAID1 or something in that vein, but what about all the docker containers you are running, carefully configured services on your rpi, installed *arr services on your PC, etc.?...

With the now accepted RSA signatures for DPoP tokens, the ephemeral, dynamic clients and the basic serving of webid documents for each user, Rauthy should now fully support. Solid OIDC. This feature just needs some more real world testing with already existing applications though....
A few months ago I went on a quest for a DNS server and was dissatisfied with current maintained projects. They were either good at adblocking (Blocky, grimd…) or good at specifying custom DNS (CoreDNS…)....
Sharing the link to this project I found and really like. It’s simple to setup with docker, simple to use but really helpful for people not already doing full-on budgeting, financial management....
Loving this weekly summary of things happening with self-hosting apps, etc…

I am not personally using these all-in-one solutions, but Casa OS has been posted frequently in this sub; Cosmos Server seems to have many more features than that.
I’ve been using Obsidian for a long time. I enjoy it and all of its extensions. However setting up the app and syncthing on all of my systems gets irritating....

Today I decided I would create some way of visualizing my unbound DNS requests/blocks on OPNsense. Adguard does a good job at this but I have issue with added third party repos and plugins, especially at the router level....

Hi all home network administrators :) Haven’t posted anything here since June, when I told you about Gatekeeper 1.1.0. Back then it was a pretty bare-bones (and maybe slightly buggy) DNS + DHCP server with a web UI with a list of LAN clients. Back at 1.1.0 Gatekeeper didn’t even configure your LAN interface or set up NAT...
