I’ve had fun building a plucky little homelab on Proxmox 8.1.4 running kernel 6.5.13-1-pve. It’s installed on an HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Desktop Mini PC, with the OS installed on a SATA SSD, there being a 4tb NVME btrfs pool, and there being multiple HDD’s connected via USB3. Services are run an an LXC that has Docker...

I’m running Jellyfin in Docker in my home server for movies and shows. I recently added a music directory and apparently after that I’m getting almost hourly notifications from my Uptime-Kuma instance connected to Gotify that Jellyfin is down with status code 502. It’s quickly up again, but I’m wondering what’s causing...

Hello! I’d like to follow some niche meme pages on instagram with my RSS reader app (feeder), and found out about RSSHub that seems exactly what I need. However, I tried using some of the public instances and except for the first time after requesting an RSS feed, it got rate limited and completely blocked. Does self hosting...

[update, solved] It was apparmor, which was lying about being inactive. Ubuntu’s default profile denies bind write access to its config directory. Needed to add /etc/bind/dnskeys/** rw, reload apparmor, and it’s all good....

Hello! I just installed jellyfin and wanted to access it with https. So, as I did yesterday for other apps (immich) in nginx proxy host I created a new proxy host, set the domain (jellyfin.mydomain.duckdns.org), set “create new SSL certificate”, “I agree on let’s encrypt stuff” and clicked save. Ports 80 and 443 are...

Hi! I’m searching for a Miro or FigJam alternative to self-host on my Raspberry Pi 4 Kubernetes Cluster. Any ideas for a good whiteboard software?
Hi guys! Just…that. My parents live in Europe, while my servers are at my home in Asia. Europe home has fiber at about 200Mbps symmetric, and Asia home has 1Gbps symmetric. But due to distance, it’s hard to get them to reach very fast speeds at all, being capped at about 1MB/s when transferring files or watching Jellyfin. Is...

Does anyone know if it is possible to take a Roku box, wipe it and install something else on it? I was thinking LibreElec, something else Kodi-ish or even just stock android.
