So thanks to this community, I have found the wonders of Audiobookshelf! Seems very promosing so far, but my main gripe is with my folder structure. I am therefore wondering if there is any media sorter tools out there? I’m thinking something along the lines of github.com/jpillora/media-sort (for plex) that I can use to sort...
I want to get away from audible to save money and for privacy. I would like to keep buying audiobooks if possible and host them on my server to stream to my android phone....
I have T-Mobile wifi (Really great btw for $30 with my plan) but it has the big dumb cgnat. I have a plex server and you can’t stream remotely with it. I had an Oracle VPS but after my trial ran out they decided they wanted to delete it with no warning....
I’m trying to stand up a Lemmy instance, and for some reason I’m just not getting it. I’ve got a fair bit of experience in Linux and Docker. NPM is new to me, but doesn’t seem difficult....
I’ll start by saying that I really love Tube Archivist. It works flawlessly in doing what it does (archiving YouTube videos), and the UI and UX are great....
I’m curious what people are using to monitor their backups? I have Borg running on a cronjob, but checking logs periodically is getting tedious, so I’d like to automate that if possible

My ISP provide me with good IPv6 connection with support of opening ports how I like. But IPv4 is behind a CGNAT and makes me unable to host a service on the legacy Internet....
Hi guys! I’m having my first attempt at Immich (…and docker, since I’m at it). So I have successfully set it up (I think), and connected the phone and it started uploading. I have enabled foreground and background backup, and I have only chosen the camera album from my Pixel/GrapheneOS phone. Thing is, after a while (when...
Would it be possible to use ports 443 and 80 for both Adguard Home and Vaultwarden? They’re both on the same machine, Vaultwarden will be in a docker container and Adguard Home not. I’m doing this on an Ubuntu server.
I’m currently working on a small setup for myself to have my complete home server in a Nix-config. That means, services, backup, etc. And if I can, having everything nice and separated into different files....
I’ve been using RealVNC for family computer help and have been wanting to setup a self hosted replaced for a while now, but haven’t had the time. RealVNC has recently axed their free levels, so I’ll use it as a reason to setup a self hosted solution....
