I know most of this is common knowledge for most Sega nerds like myself but this was a really interesting write up. I can only dream what could have been if Sega made different decisions back then.
Today discovered this awesome game and wanted to share.
So i finally bit the bullet and ordered a Sinden light gun… i’ve been following the kickstarter since it’s inception but now it seems they have their manufacturing on track…...
And why can’t I find it anywhere? I know it wasn’t very popular when it was out, but is there really a huge demand for it now? I remember 7 years so, I could walk into a retro game store and see a console for $45.

I’m currently playing a ROM hack called SM64: Beyond the Cursed Mirror. It has some pretty challenging platforming but it...
The people at retropocket.store have great products and it seems that i’ve stumbled on their ebay store. They are selling a GB Pocket Main boards that are either refurbished or completely rebuilt for a very reasonable cost. Does anyone on here have any experience with their work to recommend them as a parts supplier?
I’d never even seen this game before! Zelda 2 is my very favorite Zelda game to re-play, and I saw this mentioned in a list of games similar to it....
For me, it was the game Rocket Jockey released by Sega Soft in '96. It was perfect. The game featured a surf rock soundtrack by Dick Dale. The entire premise of the game was to ride around on rockets and using long cables to yank your opponents off theirs. Referees were also fair play. I don’t think I’ve met anyone else who...
And what category does the PS2, Wii, Xbox, Nintendo DS/3DS fit into? They aren’t retro, but they’re not really “modern” either...
