My college roommate had this little box that had 2 controllers and RCA’d into the TV that contained basically every game from the most important retro consoles. All the important consoles and games pre y2k. Including Nintendo, Atari, Sega, and maybe some arcade. I assume I can’t get it through normal channels because of some...

Everyone knows about Final Fight, right? This 1989 Capcom beat 'em up feels almost genre defining, even though it was not the first beat 'em up of its type. Nevertheless, it cast a long shadow over games that came after it, especially those released by Capcom....
This was such a fun game. The premise is so simple but works so well. Staying ahead of the baddies is like an exciting puzzle. It was even better playing single screen multiplayer with a buddy....
I’m focused on NES, SNES, N64, Master System, and Genesis at the moment. I’ve just about reached the end of the cheap NES games and bought an Everdrive N8 Pro earlier this year. Mainly for ROM translations and homebrew, but I will admit to playing some of the higher dollar games on it. I’d much rather play actual carts...

ESL here, so bear with me. A friend and I started a channel on YouTube (this is not a sneaky advertising lol), it’s nothing innovative, we just play and talk. "Dominion of Darkness” is a strategy/RPG text game in which the player takes on the role of a Sauron-style Lord of Darkness with the goal of conquering the world. He will carry out his plans by making various...
I should love this game… I’ve been trying for years to get in to it, keep thinking it will get better just round the corner but… It’s so damn tedious!...
I remember this game really affecting me, particularly because I got a bad ending and didn’t realize it has multiple endings....

Street Fighter, a classic game series that’s been part of many gaming lives, is getting a movie release! The much-anticipated film will hit the theaters on March 20, 2026....
So I played the original TimeSplitters last night. It was a PS2 launch title in 2000....
Does this make anybody…cry?
I have been looking to get a upscaler for my retro consoles and also to allow me to stream these analog consoles....

Just in time for the spookiest time of year, a game that features not just ghouls, but also ghosts as well. And spooky haunted turtles....
Vigilante was a 1988 Irem coin-op, a kind of spiritual successor to 1984’s Kung Fu Master/Spartan X. Like the 1984 title, Vigilante had a simple premise - you walk to the right and beat up fools in front of you and behind you. There’s no pseudo-third-dimension, no in and out, it’s just straight up single plane brawling,...
