As much as Reddit sux because of the company’s policies or mod problems etc., Lemmy is equally as bad....

I havent been on Reddit in a while. I reduced drastically the amount of Reddit related content I watch, and gotta say, they helped me a lot a while back to recognize unacceptable behavior, and showing it to my bf was important in his development to recognize how abusive his mom was and taking steps to go leave her and go NC....

It's mentioned in this really good Verge article about SEO. I don't think it's a good sign for Reddit to just allow such blatant spam and makes me think how much subtler spam is out there too....
Exactly what the title says. I used to look at Reddit and spend 2+ hours minimum every single day, more on the weekends. Once the API changes were announced and the protest date hit, I decided I would stop using it regardless of what happened moving forward....
Like the mobile app is really slow. I can click on a post over and over and it won’t show the comments. Also most images don’t seem to show. It seems like they have serious issues in the back end....
Anyone know why sh.reddit.com exists? Is it something they plan to use in future? ATM, it just looks justlike reddit.com with a few small style differences.
