There have been multiple accounts created with the sole purpose of posting advertisement posts or replies containing unsolicited advertising.

Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.

they both allow any object to be null and that’s usually a headache whenever a null exception shows up.

C# has nullable reference types now: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/…/nullable-references. If you enable it, you have to explicitly make reference types nullable (like ?string) and you’ll get build warnings if you try to use a variable that’s potentially null.
