There are 10 kinds of people in the world. Those who understand binary, those who don’t, and those who didn’t realise this joke is in base 3.

aaiding OP ,

Actually, there’s 2 more:

That’s kind of a confusing way to explain binary

That’s kinda how my college explained

kamen ,

IMO it should’ve been an analogy with 9 in base 10, it would’ve been clearer.

The comment with this comment’s UID in Lemmy’s comment database is not deducible from the Lemmy axioms. There! Out-nerded you 😜. (Please don’t call me on the details. Please don’t call me on the details. 🤞)

The great thing about third party apps is that those are often the same thing! There’s definitely a ‘fine then, I’ll fix it myself’ attitude that’s a great motivator to many projects

The Memmy dev certainly seems to have been doing that, he’s been pushing out so many updates it’s incredible

Is it just me or removing any or both of the bottom locks wont work because the bar wont be able to pivot enough to be taken out?

Edit: nvm you can rotate the rod and slide the bar sideways.

Lmao, I can’t tell if this is stupid, or genius access control. Like if they had problems figuring out which one of their six employees was leaving the lock open, give them each their own lock!

You usually see these on fields that are co-owned or need to be accessed by several municipalities. Everybody gets their own key but can still have access to the area whenever needed.

joyjoy , in The programmer who turns complex languages into elegant symphonies.

When you write a compiler, you eventually have to write it twice. Once in a pre-existing language, then again in the language it compiles.

Just say no to bootstrapping.
