Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.

It’s been a long time coming. My personal gripes were: Corporate astroturfing (this is the #1 reason I left, the entire front-page just felt like r/hailcorporate but nobody is aware) Reddit official app served ads in the damn comment section Bots of many varieties. Karma farming bots. Politically motivated bots (especially on r/Canada) Mod abuse (r/antiwork for instance) Censorship (r/fencesitter for instance) The stupid NFTs being pushed Also, the API situation will make it harder to moderate subs without the tools that were previously available
