I feel like there are lots of parallels between the eighties and now (recession/inflation, yuppies/inequality, skin-heads/fascists, hot-cold wars etc.) but there used to be protest music! Where is that stuff now? Music that’s intelligent and outraged - like we should be!...
I'm sure there's a valid reason, but I've got no idea what it is. Why "Kelvin?" Is that a reference to a character in the original Star Trek continuity?
When I poop, I'll take my hand and make a "knife hand" and massage the area above my hip and grab the side of my stomach while bending over to help the poop get out instead of straining. It's this weird?
I was watching a television show yesterday and the premise of the episode was that a terrorist group had broken into an old abandoned USPHS lab and stole samples of the original strain to use as a biological weapon. I've found that some of the replies in kbin have solid lines and some are dashed even though they are relplying to the same comment. Are dashed lines for accounts on unfederated instances or something similar? (still new to fediverse so not sure how this all works)
Title. I'm wondering what's everyone's take on this. On the one hand it'd mean seeing multiples of one post if you're subscribed to equivalent communities between communities. On the other hand, right now I think a big worry is this momentum we have dying out due to lack of content....
Around 2017-2018, there used to be a huge circlejerk online about how Fortnite was the dumbest thing ever, to the point where "Fortnite bad, Minecraft good" was part of the infamous Keanu Chungus 100 meme. Why did it get so much hate, and why did it stop?
