There have been multiple accounts created with the sole purpose of posting advertisement posts or replies containing unsolicited advertising.
Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.
r00ty Admin , 1 year ago I wrote a comment about this in this thread. Just to add that a salt doesn't add complexity to the brute forcing of a password, it just makes it so you need to brute-force each one separately. Hashing pairs of characters would be extremely insecure.
