There have been multiple accounts created with the sole purpose of posting advertisement posts or replies containing unsolicited advertising.
Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.
JoJo , 1 year ago I have not found a way. However, if you have one monster thread running, clicking on any notification will clear all of the notifications from that thread but not any others. So you do at least have a quick way to get rid of them and you won’t miss anything you care about.
