It’s not hate speech at all. I’m acknowledging that a different people exist. In my perspective, they have the same rights and chances as I do, they are humans with a different lifestyle than me, and if you consider the theory of implicit bias, you might have an entertaining story that another person can relate to despite their culture, lifestyle, or peoples.
I will say though that thank you for giving me the benefit of doubt to explain that, but to me it’s also offensive that a large amount of people believe that we shouldn’t talk about the differences between people with appreciation and humor.
