Absolutely. You can wear binaural mics next to your ears to get a really accurate recording of how the space around you sounds. I have a friend who would bootleg shows in the 90’s and he’d wear them hanging from his glasses next to his ears and record on minidisc. The recordings sounded like you were right there. I even turned around to look for somebody I heard say “hey!” In the recording, thinking they were there in real life.
