So I went looking for lemmy communities and kbin magazines on lemmyverse and found https://lemmy.world/c/language_exchange (not going to link to the lemmygrad version; tankies who explicitly worship Stalin and Mao and deny the Tiananmen Square Massacre and other horrors don't deserve any sane person visiting their instance).
It seems however that the person who made it failed to put anything in the sidebar.
