otter , 4 months ago I’d like to hope that it’s possible for some people to hold out and moderate effectively, such as by self reflection to make sure jaded, indifferent, mad with power, etc. isn’t happening. Then again, I didn’t moderate the massive subs on Reddit so maybe it gets harder with those. Having a mod code of conduct / best practices would help avoid some of these issues on Lemmy
