I go to an island

I plant a flag

I declare a new nation

I join the UN

Oh no, there’s been an alien attack

I “convince” world leaders to cede their sovereignty to the UN to unify and defeat the aliens

I “convince” the UN General Assembly to elect me as Secretary-General, since I have the most information on the alien attack and would be a great leader

I become Secretary-General in a totally legit election, totally no bribery or anything.

A battle breaks out against the aliens

We are winning
