There have been multiple accounts created with the sole purpose of posting advertisement posts or replies containing unsolicited advertising.

Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.

It gets slightly annoying when you want to use a non-recommended extension (like RES). You either need to swap to Nightly or something like Fennec (on F-Droid) and then you must curate your own collection of extensions on addons.mozilla.org and then set your browser to pull from that collection.
