Same thing going on here in Finland. Movie tickets are often 20-25 € for “normal” movies, shit ton of ads to go through and rude customers scrolling Insta or talking through out the movie.
Yeah, it truly is. There are some local smaller and cheaper cinemas here and there, but they usually cant show new movies at all. They are rare, too. There are couple of big movie chains that dominate and effectively force an duopoly/triopoly with their prices.
One of the biggest bullshit I have seen here in India is that airlines themselves will charge convenience fees for booking from their own website. Like it is not a third party website. It is their Fucking own website.

He's impulsive and doesn't know when to shut up. I got the distinct impression that, initially, he was absolutely not serious about buying Twitter. It was a joke/jest. BUT, because his antics affected their stock price he actually got forced into the purchase and now he's desperately trying to figure out how to make the purchase worth what he actually paid, which is fine and all, except he seems to be leading by impulse, not by consensus or logic. He wakes up in the morning, has some random ass idea and implements it without any oversight. Even his new CEO straight up admitted that she is basically a straw man CEO who will offer no friction to anything Elon wants to do.

That’s their way of advertising the game as “starting at 59.99” but the game then coerces you into spending an extra sixty dollars for the privilege of actually playing the whole game.
