Yeah sure, but I think people figured out the taste test by the time we got to modern humans. Rub it in skin… wait a few hours, rub it in lips, nibble it, and so on

Much love for these teachers. They are not paid nearly enough. I hate the corporate pizza party, but not the public school one.

Edit: I wonder if the difference in financial burden between a corporate pizza party and a public school one is a good metric

I don’t think the vast majority of self-proclaimed flat earthers actually believe that shit

Most of the big names in the flerf community are grifters, for sure. But many of the people who follow them are genuine believers. I have a relative who’s a die-hard flerfer.

Sheeps and Neeps was a small time flerfer who literally died because his conspiracy theory beliefs about cancer treatment, and there was that guy who went up in a rocket and came down in pieces. So some of them really do believe it. In my relative’s case, he went through a lot of trauma, flerfers give him a sense of belonging and something to hold onto.

I don’t believe that, even if they say they do, I don’t believe that they actually believe it

I’m glad that my nephew’s teacher last year sent out a message to allow family to donate to those parties. I’ve paid for a few.

I’m also sad that it has come to that.

Love when I bough pizza with it is own money

Potatos_are_not_friends , in Hey she tried her best ok

I volunteered at a summer camp in college and we had a $30 budget to feed 15 kids + 1.

I bought four Little Caesars $5 dollar pizzas, some dollar store big sodas, and had enough money for big bags of chips.

We made it work! 😭

Imagine how much better the world would be if gas cost $100 per gallon

conditional_soup ,

Gas prices mean nothing if you can take the train. Every time gas prices jump, people start thinking about alternatives. Might be pretty sick, actually.

Bye ,

Exactly.

If gas cost $100 per gallon, cities would HAVE to build trolleys or subways. Which is my dream. I just want trains

CyberMonkey404 ,

Nah, you’ll just be paying more for the gas

PunnyName ,

Halosheep ,

I, for one, would be whole lot poorer and a while lot hungrier.

Idk where you get your food from, but mine comes from a, store up the road a bit and is mostly delivered using vehicles that use gasoline to deliver it there.

Xavienth ,

Of course, that would never change in the face of changing financial incentives. The world as it is is the world as it ought to be.

Rooskie91 , in *insert "bomb them" sound effect*

Recommended the book “How to Blow Up a Pipeline” by Andreas Malm so you can explain to your boomer parents why this kind of protest is necessary and why violence against private property is an effective and necessary means of gaining justice.
