Accounts which solely post advertisements, or persistently post them may be terminated.

Tiger VNC over ssh is my FOSS suggestion.

If the client machine is Linux, remmina.org is great and supports lots of protocols.

If the client is MacOS (and iOS), JumpDesktop is a great non-FOSS client. It supports ssh, vnc, and their own protocol.
