bitwolf , 1 month ago I’d argue there are two ideologies. Gnome focuses on design and user interaction, then features. Plasma focuses on configuration and modularity, then design. It does seem like they are starting to converge though. With gnome focusing on more features, and Plasma focusing more on design and consistency.
