Recently, I’ve been using linux(tried multiple distros). I’m curious about how linux works, it’s architecture! Is there a book, guide, video, etc to learn about linux? By using linux, I get to know something. It would be better If I know how linux works!
Started learning Linux with Manjaro a few years ago, but there were always stability issues pushing me away from daily driving. I found when I did have time to use my PC, it was largely for gaming, and when any issue presented and needed to be fixed it was a bit of a barrier to entry....
Started with 50 MBps, went down to 20 MBps shortly after and is declining slowly since. Running for 7+ hours....

So I am an aesthetics guy when it comes to my distro and desktop environment. I like things to look clean and visually appealing. Last night I kinda took a deep dive into the world of different DE’s. I’ve got an Epson Stylus SX435W all in one. It’s working with Image Scan! for Linux 2.30.4, but is not being detected by Epson Scan 2. I’ve checked everything I can find, it just looks like my scanner is too old for the software....
I start: the most important thing is not the desktop, it’s the package manager.
I’ve ready that is a nice and very advanced OS. I run a dell laptop with Intel processor, so I was thinking of checking it out.I did a live disc and it felt like every other version of gnome… Though there are probably many¹ features im not aware of. So what and who is this distro for. Me running Intel drivers, processor,...
I’ve really been memorized by deepin, but I feed into the fear of the actual distro and China blah blah. I honestly dont know, but figure better safe than sorry. So I’ve tried Ubuntu DDE and it look like ass… Maybe they’ve update it since. I tried installing it on my fedora 38 workstation and it didn’t play well....
