I remember doing that to the Nokia 3310. Sure, it cracked the screen, but I covered it with some clear nail Polish and it was as good as new.

over_clox OP ,

Wait, you managed to crack a Nokia 3310? That takes some serious talent!

What was your weapon of choice? Sledgehammer? Battle Axe? Bulldozer Tread?

And the most important question of all, did the weapon of choice survive?..

mrfriki ,

Nah, that crease is quite distracting.

over_clox OP ,

Tis but a scratch…

Take it to that repair booth at the mall

over_clox OP ,

LOL, as if we have a mall anywhere around here! They demolished ours over 10 years ago. ☹️🤷‍♂️

Shit. Can-and-string phone it is.

When I was a kid, friends hadn’t been invented yet. We had to imagine them ourselves.

Go the DIY route, try putting it in rice.

over_clox OP ,

I used to work in cell phone repair. One time, a customer came in with their water damaged phone in rice. But they didn’t have any white rice, all they had was Cajun Spicy Rice…

I believe it should go without saying, but they only made the problem way worse and their phone was fucked beyond any possibility of repair.

I think of that one as when dumb meets dumber 😂🤣

On Ebay, "as good as new, minor scratches"

over_clox OP ,

LMFAO! I just happened to find it today while walking our dog. Obviously the phone is a goner, but it still had a SIM card in it. I tried the SIM card in one of my devices, apparently it was under T-Mobile, but now it’s no longer in service.

Oh well, you win some, you lose some…
